Do you want to work in Relationship Supervision?
What we do
More than half of the UK working population rely on The Pensions Regulator (TPR) to regulate their retirement savings. You’ll be joining us at an exciting time, as we expand our reach into new markets to positively impact millions of savers lives.
We’re committed to bringing people into TPR who want to put UK savers at the heart of what they do, with everyone playing a vital part.
We put you first
Our goal is to help our people reach their full potential. Through learning and development opportunities, we put our 900+ employees first. Our diversity networks reinforce this commitment by creating a supportive environment for everyone at TPR to influence our goals.
Our bold and challenging strategic vision in our Corporate Strategy outlines how we believe pensions regulation should evolve.
Relationship Supervision
Our engagement is focused on the largest and most strategically important occupational pension schemes. We’re able to monitor them closely, outline our expectations, and prevent problems from developing in the first place.
We build strong relationships with those responsible for running pension schemes from all scheme types including defined benefit, defined contribution (including a dedicated Master Trusts Team) and public service pensions. We are engaging in new innovative areas of the pensions market as a regulator, like superfunds, collective defined contribution and pensions administrators.
What you’ll do
Work closely with our professional advisors, using their expertise to support your assessment and interactions with schemes. Where necessary, we refer significant concerns to our enforcement team.
We think TPR is great place to work – but don’t just take our word for it.
“I’ve come from a pensions audit background. TPR is a wonderfully inclusive and interesting place to work (with an office by the seaside, what more could you want!). As someone who is neurodiverse, the support I have had through the recruitment/onboarding process has been exceptional.”
Anita, Relationship Supervision Pensions Regulation Officer
“I share TPR’s values of pursuing better outcomes for pension savers and I wanted to contribute to this work, making a difference to people’s lives. I come from a background where many end up living their retirement in very precarious financial conditions and people are concerned about the future of their pension. Being a Pensions Regulation Manager allows me to work closely with workplace pension schemes to protect savers’ pensions, helping schemes identify and manage issues and risks. Through my day to day work I aim to ensure value for members, and ultimately create better outcomes in retirement for workplace savers.”
Giulia, Pensions Regulation Manager
